Review
After finishing Anatomy of an Alibi, my first thought was that I had never read anything quite like it. The title suggests the breakdown of one alibi, but the novel actually explores several, and watching those pieces come together was one of the strongest parts of the book.
That said, the story is very slow, especially in the beginning. The final murder reveal was also a little disappointing because it leaned on a twist that has been used many times before. Still, there were several turns I didn’t see coming, and Ashley Elston’s writing style kept me interested enough to want to read more of her work.
Overall, Anatomy of an Alibi was a solid read—interesting and well-written, though not unforgettable.
Stay tuned for my next review!
