Andy Bergeron is a newly retired mental health counselor, former teacher, and soccer coach who lives just north of Dayton, Ohio with his aging pit bull, Dugan. He has written for Dayton newspapers and the Englewood Independent, and he is at work on a short story collection and his first novel. His story “Virginia” appears in Top-Shelf’s inaugural September/October 2026 issue.
